Anniversaries are such a special time! Whether you are celebrating your first year together or your 50^th year together you will of course want to have a wonderful day planned.

Now of course breakfast in bed has been done but doesn’t mean you can’t make it extra special. French toast, pancakes, or full English, go all out for your loved one! Not a cook? Just head on into Chester and choose one of our many eateries. Whether it is a decadent pastry from The Neighbourhood Bakery which you can take away and eat by the Cathedral or in Grosvenor Park. Or perhaps the Jaunty Goat, The Flower Cup, or Shrub will take your fancy. There’s a surplus of options including plenty of Vegan options too!

After your delicious breakfast you could take a leisurely stroll through the park and along the river or if you are up for a longer walk then you can explore the Chester Walls which will take you through Chester and into town. Raining? There are plenty of shops and coffee places to duck in out of, including Chester’s indoor market where local produce is sold and there are plenty of fooderies for a lunch or a light snack.

Looking for an adventure? Head over to Escapism Chester for an exciting hour! Get locked up together (romantic!) and solve puzzles and clues together to try and escape. We guarantee brilliant fun which will work up an appetite for dinner later.

Speaking of dinner… Hickory’s is a brilliant place to go just by the river, with lovely food and cheerful atmosphere. Pizza? Well Sergio’s is the place, romantic lighting and delicious, authentic Italian food!

Still time for more? Head over to Storyhouse to watch some live theatre or catch a film at their cinema. Or head to one of the many pubs or cocktail bars, like Popcorn or Liquor and Co. for a romantic late-night drink.
