Something Spooky Is Coming to Escapism Chester: GHOST HUNT

We’ve been keeping something under wraps for a while, but we can finally let you in on the secret.

There’s a brand-new escape room coming to Escapism Chester this Halloween, and it’s a little different from anything we’ve done before.

Ghost Hunt opens on 31st October.

We’ve spent the last few months building, testing and, hopefully, making sure we haven’t accidentally invited anything unwanted into the building along the way.

So, what’s the story?

Welcome to Ravenscroft Manor

You and your team have been called to Ravenscroft Manor, an old Victorian mansion with a rather unpleasant history.

More than 100 years ago, the young heir to the Ravenscroft family died in mysterious circumstances. His spirit never left the manor, and it seems he isn’t the only one still hanging around.

The rest of the Ravenscroft family have their own secrets, and not all of the spirits in the house are particularly happy to see you.

Your job is to investigate the manor, uncover what happened and help the young heir finally find peace.

Sounds straightforward enough, right?

Well, there is one small problem.

You have until midnight.

Can you solve the mystery?

As you’d expect from an Escapism room, you’ll need to search for clues, solve puzzles and work together as a team if you want to make it out in time.

But Ghost Hunt brings something else into the mix.

You’re not just racing against the clock. You’re stepping into a house where something clearly isn’t right.

You might hear something you can’t explain.

You might see something you weren’t expecting.

And you may start wondering whether you’re actually alone in the room.

We’re not going to give too much away. Half the fun is finding out for yourself.

Just in time for Halloween

If you’re looking for something different to do this Halloween, getting a group of friends together for a night out, or just fancy testing how brave you really are, this could be the one for you.

Just remember: once you step inside Ravenscroft Manor, you’ve got one hour to uncover the truth.
